Yes — that's exactly what Mude is designed for. Mude base layers are designed to sit comfortably and discreetly under your existing wardrobe so you can dress exactly as you normally would. The device pocket is hidden and the garments layer seamlessly under anything.

We currently offer three styles — the Mude Tank, Mude Camisole, and Mude Shorts — each available in black and white. Each garment features a secure internal device pocket and discreet tubing pathway. You can browse the full collection at mudeclothing.com/collections/all.

A base layer is the first layer of clothing worn directly against the skin. Mude base layers are designed to be worn under your everyday clothes — they're not outerwear. Think of them as the foundation of your outfit that happens to securely hold your device in place all day.

Not quite yet. Our styles run from XS–XL in adult sizing, so they may fit older teenagers — but we'd recommend emailing us at hello@mudeclothing.com with your child's measurements before ordering and we'll give you an honest answer.

Absolutely — reply to any of our emails or contact us at hello@mudeclothing.com with your measurements and device type. We'll recommend the right style and size for you.

We currently ship to the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and all European countries.

United Kingdom:
We offer standard and tracked options with estimated delivery of 1–2 business days after dispatch. Next day delivery options are also available at checkout.

Republic of Ireland and Europe:
Estimated delivery is 5–7 business days after dispatch via standard or tracked services.

All delivery times are estimates from the date of dispatch. You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email when your order is on its way.

Free size exchanges on every order within 30 days. For all other returns, you have 30 days from delivery — items must be unworn and in original condition.

Yes — free size exchanges on every order. If your Mude doesn't fit the way you expected, email us at hello@mudeclothing.com within 30 days with your order number and the size you need. We'll sort the exchange at no cost to you.

Not sure on sizing before you order? Email us first and we'll help you get it right.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll confirm your refund within a few working days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 business days.

All Mude garments go through quality control before they're dispatched. If something isn't right with your order — a manufacturing fault, a defect, anything that looks wrong — email us at hello@mudeclothing.com within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We'll sort it.

Yes — free standard shipping is available on orders of 2 or more items. For smaller orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen delivery option.

Our garments are responsibly produced through trusted partners here in the UK, ensuring quality and ethical standards at every stage.

Mude was founded by Aidan and Kat after Kat's closest friend — a T1D insulin pump user — couldn't find clothing that worked with her device without compromising her style. After two years of co-designing with over 300 device users, Mude launched in 2026. Read the full story here.
