Mude makes base layers with hidden pockets for insulin pump users — so you can wear whatever you want without thinking about your device.
Clothing that works with your life. Not around it.
Mude designs beautifully considered base layers that work with your body, your devices, and your style. No compromises. No workarounds. Just clothing that lets you get on with living.
About Mude
Getting dressed shouldn't be a problem to solve.
But for many insulin pump users, it is.
The tuck that never stays.
The outfit abandoned because there's nowhere to put the pump.
The constant calculation of what you can and can't wear.
That's a clothing problem — not a you problem. And clothing problems have solutions.
"I used to plan my life around my diabetes, now I plan my diabetes around my life."
— Cara, Mude tester
Designed With You
Every Mude garment is co-created with the people who wear them.
Real insulin pump users who told us exactly what was missing from everything else. That community shapes every decision we make.
Invisible, By Design
The whole point is that you put it on and get on with your day.
No adjusting.
No checking.
No thinking about it - Just clothing.
Fashion First. Always.
Mude is a fashion brand.
Not an adaptive clothing brand.
Not a medical accessories company.
A fashion brand - that happens to work perfectly with your device.
Our story
It started with a question that felt unfair.
Kat's closest friend — a T1D insulin pump user — couldn't find a single piece of clothing designed to work with her device. Not one. Just to get dressed without thinking about it. That's all she wanted.
That conversation became two years of co-design workshops and honest conversations with over 300 insulin pump users. People told us exactly what was missing. We built it.
Mude launched in January 2026. Everything you see was shaped by the community it was made for.
This isn’t a personal problem - it’s a clothing problem
Too often, people are left choosing between feeling secure and feeling like themselves. We believe you shouldn't have to choose. And now you don't.
"I almost forgot I had it on, which was very liberating."
— Sarah, Mude customer
The Mude Team
We’re a small team who care about getting this right - because we’ve seen what happens when clothing doesn’t.
We believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves in what they wear.
Aidan McGeary

Our journey
We’re still learning.
Still listening.
Still improving.
Because your life doesn’t stand still - and your clothing shouldn’t hold you back.
July 2023
Our story begins
Kat and Aidan, our founders, started Mude together. Kat's idea sparked Mude after a conversation with her friend who has Type 1 Diabetes and uses an insulin pump. Her friend couldn't wear the clothing she wanted, and Kat set out to change that.
2024
Listening first
We began by working closely with people who wear medical devices every day. Through co-design workshops, we listened, learned, and understood what clothing actually needs to do in real life.
2025
Refining, prototyping, testing
With those insights, we refined designs, developed prototypes, and tested them in everyday situations — adjusting details, fabrics, and fit until everything felt right.
January 2026
Launch
January 2026 — Launch: After two years of co-designing, testing, and refining with our community, Mude launched. Our collection is now available to order.
"I've had diabetes for 16 years — I just started wearing Mude and it's great because it fits all my pump accessories."
